NATASHA’S GOT THIS SHIT
This scene was so amazing. I went into this movie just ABSOLUTELY SURE Joss would fuck her character up somehow and I expected it to be this moment. When Loki broke her facade, when he got under her skin, when she was rattled and would have to regroup. But then NOPE, SHE TRICKED THE TRICKSTER GOD and, holy shit, I could not love her more than I did in that moment.
I still look at the cast and go, “….that is a lot of dudes right there.”, wishing that there was more than just one woman on the team, but I can’t deny that the movie did right by her character. She didn’t have just one moment of awesome, then shoved off to the side. No, she was there and fighting and getting her series of moments, just like the male characters. She got to be human after the fight with the Hulk, she was rattled, you could see it, but when she needs to get shit done? Whether it’s fighting a giant green rage monster, fighting a teammate, fighting off an alien invasion, or going toe to toe with fucking Loki in an interrogation, NATASHA HAS IT TOGETHER.
Ugh, I loved her so much.
