She’s not, like, cowering behind him or swooning in his embrace - no, she looks wary and nervous, fierce and protective, all at the same time and I love the way she holds him. She’s not holding onto him, she’s actually holding him. Because he’s the more vulnerable here, his back is all exposed to the audience - and she’s, like, actually watching his back.
